Today, more people are using RSS feeds. For the ones who don’t know RSS; is a group of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines in a standardized format, the orange color logo on every webpage.

A Clickz article said that t0hirty-four percent of global respondents to a March social media survey from Universal McCann said they had “ever” subscribed to an RSS feed.

The top media company Starcom Worldwide mentioned that there are the creative limits of RSS advertising including Flash, IFrames and JavaScript.Therefore, companies like Pheedo are offering non-traditional advertising ways for RSS feeds. Some benefits of RSS advertising discussed by Pheedo are desirable demographics ( becuause they’re active online), word of mouth effect, reaching the most loyal and dedicated readers, reaching unreachables.

Even, RSS advertising has been constrained by the dominance of FeedBurner, acquired by Google a year ago, it seems it will be very profitable and popular in the near future, especially because of the big change in Internet users’ habits.
